Arts on the Fly is Horsefly, BC's music, dance and arts festival!
Located in beautiful Cariboo country, you'll find our small community putting on one of the best summer festivals in British Columbia. We bring together performers from around the world and locally – from funk to folk, Irish to rock'n roll – and celebrate a weekend of music, arts and dancing.

MAY 5, 2013 Mark your calendars today for the Annual Arts on the Fly Coffeehouse on SATURDAY JUNE 1st! Afantastic night of local talent not to be missed. Starts at 7pm, $5 at the door. MARCH 4, 2013 Our 2nd annual CHILI COOK-OFF is on Saturday March 30! Register your team or your own personal chili today. Call Marin at 250-620-0592 to register. MARCH 21, 2012 Chili Cook-Off on April 14th! Doors at 6pm, Horsefly Community Hall. Prizes for best chili, cornbread, and booth decorations. Voted on by members of the community. Community member admission by donation (but you buy rolls of quarters to vote on the chili and cornbread). Refreshments available. Family friendly. Want to enter your chili and cornbread? MARCH 4, 2012 Thank you to everyone who came out last night for our 3rd annual fashion show, featuring fashions from Dandelion Living, Red Dog, Alexander, and Red Shred's. It was a great success. We are always so grateful for the generosity and enthusiasm of our community! Don't forget to mark your calendars for the Chili Cook-Off on April 14th.
JANUARY 22, 2012 Welcome to a new year... And many great upcoming Arts on the Fly events in the community of Horsefly! Keep an eye out for new event announcements, including Monthly Community Arts Workshops, Country Coffeehouse, Fashion Show (March), & a Chili Cook-Off (April). Mark your calendars! •January 21: Our first Community Arts Workshop was a hit. 12 participants came out on a chilly winter evening for a vocal workshop with Pharis Romero. •January 28: "Horsefly Goes Country" Coffeehouse. SEPTEMBER 12, 2011 Arts on the Fly has a brand new board! Please check out the new folks who will be working with the festival this year - we're really looking forward to a great year. A huge thank you to our outgoing board for their wonderful and dedicated volunteering on the festival these last couple years: Dina Stephenson, Monika Schlaepfer, Liz Hardwick, Esther & Beat Oschwald, and Lisa Walker.

JULY 11, 2011 So many thanks to all the incredible performers and volunteers who made this the best festival yet! And to all of you for coming and supporting our festival, we couldn't do it without you. Thanks again - and already looking forward to next year!
JUNE 20, 2011 Festival posters are up and around the Cariboo! Advance tickets are on sale at The Gecko Tree and The Beancounter in Williams Lake, and at Clarke's General Store in Horsefly.
MAY 24, 2011 Our festival line-up is complete - take a tour around the performers page to get an idea of who all's coming for the festival. And the program for this year's festival is available for download on the performers page (program subject to minor change though). Keep an eye out for advance ticket sales - they will be going on sale soon.
